The EarthMC 3D Globe is a free, interactive 3D map of EarthMC — the
large geopolitical Minecraft server built on a scaled map of the real Earth. Instead of the usual flat
image, it renders the entire EarthMC world as a rotating 3D globe in your browser: spin
the planet, zoom into any continent, and explore player-run towns and nations
the way you would on Google Earth.
See live players — player positions stream in and update in real time as people move around the EarthMC world.
Explore towns and nations — thousands of town claims are drawn on the sphere, coloured by their nation.
Search anything — type any EarthMC town or nation name and fly straight to it.
Open a place card — click a town to see its nation, mayor, resident count, and a link to it on the flat map.
Watch the live online count — see how many players are currently on the EarthMC server.
A living planet — a physically-animated ocean, drifting clouds, polar sea ice, and camera-following sunlight make the world feel real.
How to use it
Just open the globe — there is nothing to download and no login. Drag to
spin the Earth, scroll or pinch to zoom, and click a town to read about it.
When you leave it idle while zoomed out, the camera drifts slowly around the planet like a satellite. It works
on phones, tablets, and desktops.
How it differs from the flat map
EarthMC's official flat map presents the world as a
rectangular image. The 3D Globe takes that same live tile and town data and wraps it onto a real sphere using
the correct Miller-cylindrical projection, so every town lands at its true geographic latitude
and longitude. Markers on the far side of the planet are correctly hidden behind the horizon, so nothing bleeds
through the Earth. For EarthMC's own block-for-block premium render, see
3d.earthmc.net.
Frequently asked questions

No. It is an independent, fan-made visualization built on EarthMC's public map and API data. The official flat map is map.earthmc.net.
How is it different from the flat map?

About EarthMC
EarthMC is one of the largest earth-based survival Minecraft servers, where players found towns, form
nations, wage wars, and build a living political map of the world. This 3D globe streams the server's live
tile, town, and player data, so what you see always reflects the current state of the EarthMC world. It is an
independent project and is not affiliated with EarthMC.
